Express Entry

Canada comes as the top-most choice among aspiring immigrants while considering where to migrate. The country has gained immense popularity in terms of job opportunities, great lifestyle, welcoming community, safety, and more. Every year, thousands of people plan to immigrate to Canada and start a new life in the maple leaf country.

Canada express entry or EEP can be defined as a fast-track immigration pathway to gain permanent residency. Launched in 2015, the Canada express entry is basically an online immigration system which manages skilled workers applications for permanent residence. It is designed as a competitive immigration system that ranks all the qualified applicants against one another based on the selection factors of age, work experience, educational qualifications, language, then sending them an Invitation to Apply for securing a permanent residence in Canada.

This is to note there are some additional factors which increase applicant ranking in the pool like arranged employment and a genuine intention to live and economically establish themselves in any one of the Canadian provinces.

How does CRS score work in Express Entry Pool ?

The Comprehensive Ranking System is abbreviated as CRS. A 1200 point system is used. As a result, you’ll get a CRS score when you apply to the Express Entry pool. After that, you’ll be in the Express Entry pool for up to a year. Every other week or thereabouts, IRCC sends out invitations to the EE pool. An ITA will be sent to you if your score is higher than the Express Entry minimum. You remain in the pool for the next round if your score is less than the minimum score. Unfortunately, depending on the date and time you entered the pool, you may not be eligible for an ITA if your score equals the minimum points.
